6" Narrow Aluminum Spoke "Astro" Wheel
Main wheel 6" Narrow Aluminum Spoke by 3" wide, with 5/8" sealed bearing. 90 degree bent valve stem. Use tire Part No. J1290 and tube Part No. J1312.
Adaptation of spun aluminum wheels to existing Quicksilver brakes requires some modifications that you may not be aware of. Check for the correct choice of offset wheel and a longer axle. Use the wheel hub as a guide to drill the brake drum to match - 3 bolt holes (5/16" dia.) in a triangular pattern. Assemble the wheel onto the axle with the brake band in place and determine the spacing of the drum to the wheel. Cut spacers from raw material to match P/NA1148C-2 - brake spacer raw material, 2 ft. Select a grade 5 or aircraft bolt to assemble the wheel and drum. Has a 90 degree bent valve stem.
