Sensenich's ground adjustable carbon propellers are manufactured using aerospace materials in a sate of the art internal pressure molded process, yielding an extremely strong yet lightweight blade.
This propeller features a co-cured metal leading edge for erosion and FOD protection. The two piece hub is CNC machined from aerospace grade aluminum billet, shot-peened for increased durability and anodized for corrosion protection.
The Pitch Cylinder Hub System allows the user to set a broad range of pitches, using the system’s blade pins and gages to make adjustments. Simply loosen the hub clamping bolts, insert the desired pitch setting gage, rotate the blade pins until they touch the gage, torque the clamping bolts and go flying. This 3-blade propeller is suitable for use on the Lycoming O-235, O-290, O-320, O-360 and IO-390 engines. We have tested it up to 220HP. The blades can be trimmed from the maximum 72" diameter to 70" diameter.
