Intermittent-duty device for use as a starter contactor. Features built-in spike suppression diode and is capable of powering a "Starter Engaged" warning light in the instrument panel. Features an heavy-duty electro-magnet for reliable stick free operation. The contactor's coil gets power via the "S" terminal (10-32 thread) and finds ground through the mounting base. If mounted on a non-grounded surface add a 20 AWG jumper from the base mounting screw to the firewall ground. Coil resistance is 2.5 ohms. Weight is 10 ounces. For use with 12V electrical systems.
